We are looking for a Project Leader for Global Marketing Communications, to be responsible for running global marketing projects from start to finish. You will be responsible to develop and activate global campaigns that inspire, engage and attract fans and customers to the Polestar brand. This by using the best suitable and smartest combination in your marketing toolbox.
The role will be reporting to the Head of Global Marketing Communications which has the team responsible for driving the marketing activation of all larger campaigns and responsible for budgeting, planning and follow-up of the main creative agency.
This position is mainly located at our HQ, in Gothenburg. We understand that work life balance isn’t easy, and of course welcome our emplyees to work flexible hours and from home a couple of days per week if needed. We believe in empowerment.
What you´ll do
As as Project Leader you will be a part of our growing global marketing organization, meaning that you will have broad and global responsibility and the ability to influence the development of the Polestar brand and business. As a Project Leader you will get an opportunity to develop communication in an exciting environment.
It will be your role to bring all of our in-house talents and teams (main stakeholders like: Brand, CRM, digital, insight, content & Social) together to ensure that creative, interesting, and engaging work is being produced. Your work will include campaign development together with Polestar team members from the global organization and local markets and with our global creative and media agencies.
Examples of responsibilities and tasks included will be:
- Coordinate the planning and execution of the product launch campaigns, adhering to the launch plan
- Drive campaigns from brief through concepts to execution and follow-up
- Measure ROI and KPIs and prepare the budget
- Manage and drive key milestones and deliverables
- Monitor competition and provide unique ideas
- Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns
- Identify trends and insights, and optimize performance based on the insights
- Collaborate with global and local resources, agencies and other vendor partners
Who you are
You are process-focused, with an eye for detail. You have a solid understanding of market activities, you can multi-task, and you’re hands-on. Last but not least, you’re a team player, someone who genuinely enjoys collaboration and working with others. You embrace change, and if your timings or budgets need adjustment, it’s not a problem. Ultimately, you should be able to drive all marketing efforts to achieve our business objectives.
Further on we believe it’s of great importance that you:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and/or digital technologies
- Proven working experience with strong brands in a global marketing environment
- Minimum 5-7 years experience in International Marketing
