We are expanding our Governmental Affairs team and are looking for a Project Leader Government Affairs, New Business and Strategic Initiatives.
About the role
You develop and maintain a global understanding of the external requirements landscape and policy changes, with a particular focus on new mobility and new technologies and assess their impact on our current and future products and services. You are part of the Research function, but collaborate closely with other global functions, as well as with Autoliv’s regional divisions, in order to develop engagement strategies and build relationships with our key external stakeholders. As a key person in the Governmental Affairs function you oversee the work of cross-functional internal teams of regulation and ratings specialists in designated areas and ensure alignment with strategies and priorities.
Furthermore, a significant portion of your job is to manage strategic governmental affairs initiatives, strategic investigations, and coordinate external partnerships and collaborative platforms. You may participate in relevant external working groups as a representative for Autoliv. You are expected to maintain an effective dialogue with policymakers and other key stakeholders to ensure Autoliv´s interests are represented and maintains its strong reputation as a relevant and credible partner. The role also includes development of consolidated positions of Autoliv opinions on key matters.
About you
As a person you have a strong personal drive and ability to take individual ownership of your area while being a true team player. Moreover, you have solid project management skills, a pro-active, strategic, and holistic mind-set, and the ability to lead the work of cross-functional teams and global networks. You have the maturity and integrity to represent Autoliv’s interest toward important external stakeholders. Furthermore, you have excellent communication skills both in written and oral situations. Fluency in English is an absolute minimum. Additional language skills are meriting.
On a formal level we believe you have a university degree in Engineering and minimum three years of experience working in within the Automotive sector or other relevant sector.
Experience of working with regulation and requirements development in official government working groups or committees in US, Europe, or Asia is considered a strong advantage.
