To be successful in this role, you bring with you:
• Preferably you have worked in a transformation project or other complex and fast-paced environment before, involving cross-function and organisational stakeholder management.
• Understanding of business processes and the IKEA strategic landscape and business direction is of advantage.
• General knowledge of IKEA processes, supply chain, warehousing operations and specific knowledge within service fulfilment operations.
• Tactical ability to identify challenges and opportunities and ability to prioritize with a strong connection to business and people impact when working across functions and businesses.
• Awareness of project management processes including methods and tools; scope, time, cost, risk, quality, communication and how to integrate these processes.
• Very good command of written and verbal English, detail orientation and advanced digital knowledge of MS Office tools.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Together with the Group Fulfilment Operations team establish and ensure operational excellence in the area of customer order fulfillment, with a long-term focus based on the organization’s vision.
You will (be):
• Responsible to map delivery and service fulfillment flows in the delivery management platform to secure the end-to-end order fulfillment process.
• Responsible to create and adapt working methods for the IKEA delivery planning team and the Service Provider/drivers executing last-mile deliveries.
• Contribute to the creation of learning material for the IKEA delivery planning team and the Service Provider/drivers.
• Contribute to the creation of working methods for other user groups (Store, CDC, and Customer Support Centre) of the delivery management platform to secure an alignment throughout the order fulfillment flow.
• Contribute to the development of new capabilities in the delivery management platform.
• Support the implementation of the IKEA delivery management platform in new countries.
• Contribute with change management findings & learnings to relevant stakeholders.
• Responsible to transfer global solution knowledge for customer fulfillment to the receiving line organizations (CFF Service Fulfilment Operations/Business Support)
ABOUT THIS WORK AREA
We are focusing on providing a seamless shopping experience with great quality in all touchpoints for many people. Customer Fulfilment plays a fundamental part in making IKEA multichannel retailing a reality. To support IKEA in achieving business objectives, CFF acts as a customer-centric, fully integrated, process-oriented organization with an end-to-end approach. Enabling us to develop our business and deliver results across functions together with our partners.
Ingka is transforming into an Omnichannel Retailer, where the customer demand for last-mile is increasing rapidly – due to this, taking complete ownership of the last mile value chain is a focus within IKEA in the coming three years. To support this business decision, a new IT system (Delivery Management Platform), operating model, and sourcing model are to be implemented in a pull approach to the Ingka countries.
There are no specific location demands as we will work predominantly digitally in this project (CEST/UTC+1 time zone).
This role is a temporary position and is reporting to the SFO Leader.
