What’s in it for you
You will be a part of Plant Supply Chain Engineering (PSCE) within Plant Supply Chain Management (PSC) that covers plan and operational responsibility for all logistic activities. We ensure the supply of production parts to Torslanda Car Plant.
As a logistic Engineer at Volvo Cars, you will have a crucial role in creating new logistic flows at Torslanda Car Plant. You get the opportunity to work with development of logistics process, in a company that always strive to be in the lead of the development. You will also be working on a global level and be able to take advantage Volvo Cars network all over the world.
What you will do
PSCE is responsible for logistic processes in the car plant, all to meet the needs of new process or flow changes. As a Logistic Engineer you will lead a logistic project within this area, you will also drive and control logistic investment within this project. Responsibility also includes specifying of IT changes needed to support the new process and secure the tests and implementation of IT.
You will participate, and give input, towards logistic industrial structure and strategies. Further, you will contribute regarding global logistic commonality in your area.
Your main responsibilities:
• Logistic Project Leader.
• Provide technical expertise.
Do you fit the profile
We believe you have an education in Logistic or Supply Chain management, or equivalent. For this role it is good to have experience working as a Project Leader and knowledge in MS Office, LEAN logistics, logistics and material handling. It is meritorious if you have Automotive logistic experience.
We believe you are fluent in English and Swedish, both verbally and written.

You are a person who always seeks for the smartest solution in order to keep things simple and lean. Your overall goal is to contribute to the business profitability, this you do by identifying opportunities for improvements and drive through changes in this area.
