The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to agreed scope, deadlines and within budget.Role summary Create project plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.Monitor project progress, drive and facilitate project work ensuring that necessary decisions to reach project goals are made and effected.Manage project budget, monitor cost development against plan.Report progress to Project Steering Com The Project Manager has the following responsibility areas: To assess Project Definition Requests and give feedback on project description and product definition as well as extent of definition phase.To execute one or several cross functional projects, project scope mainly covering Umeå Manufacturing aspects, according to GE Healthcare Quality Management System, using a team approach to reach agreed scope within agreed time and cost. To be cost and budget responsible for the project.Education: Masters degree or equivalent level of experience and knowledge within relevant area. English as a working language. Basic training in project management. Six sigma and lean manufacturing principles a plus.Experience: Relevant experience (3-4 years) of industrial manufacturing / development.
