Position description:

As Project Leader Packaging Engineering within the group Central Logistics Engineering. You will be part of a team of engineers divided into geographical locations at Gothenburg, Gent, Olofström and Skövde covering all car - and component plants. The team is responsible for the development and implementation of material handling processes and equipment in accordance with our vehicle (new program) cycle plan and manufacturing targets/deliverables.

You will be located in Torslanda together with another 12 team members.



Main responsibilities:

• Project lead Material packaging engineering tasks within a specific project team.

• Develop, prepare and implement quality assured transport packaging, fixtures and equipment.

• Estimate, agree and follow up cost; Investment, running cost etc.

• Perform feasibility and pre-studies.

Skills and required experience:

Required qualification:

• University degree in engineering or equivalent experience

• More than 10 years’ experience within material handling / packaging engineering

• Proven project management skills

• Fluent in written and spoken English

• Experience in logistics within automotive

• AutoCad / Catia V5 knowledge
