Project Leader R&D

We are now looking for a driven Project Leader to a pharmaceutical company in Helsingborg. You will manage and provide oversight to a series of projects associated with New Product Development of OTC products within the EMEA region. To complement the existing team you need to have a technical experience in Formulation and/or Analytical Development. The scope of a project is to plan, execute and monitor from its agreed definition to the first launch in the region. The projects will, to various extents, typically be connected to external partnerships.

The project management aspects would include, but not be limited to;

. Drive the technical aspects of the NPD

. Coordinate with internal and external teams the requirements to achieve goals of the projects

. Comprehensive technical due diligence reviews of external opportunities and licenses including risk assessments

. Technical transfers between development and commercial production facilities

. Ensure that correct technical documentation is available to support successful registration applications

. Generate project budget request, tracking approved budgets as well as appropriate financial monitoring and follow-ups.

You will be expected to be the primary contact for negotiating access to, and collaborate with, external and internal cross-sector resources to complete the projects in scope.

Qualification:

Minimum a Bachelors degree with a major in chemistry or pharmaceutics or an equivalent degree within related sciences.

Work Experience:

. A minimum of 5 years in a pharmaceutical manufacturing or product development environment with an emphasis on multi-ingredient solid-dose formulation. Especially, technical experience in Formulation and/or Analytical Development.

. Technical experience with non-prescription ingredients used in cough, cold & allergy preparations and analgesics is a distinct advantage.

. Experience in technical project management of New Product Development preferably as lead, but also as team member, is seen as a merit.

. Comprehensive understanding of quality compliance knowledge within EU and good understanding of GxP systems.

. Strong background in Medicinal regulation, but also experience in Medical Device and/or Food Supplement regulations in the EMEA environment is seen favorable.

. A demonstrated business partner and ability to bring together multi-disciplined technical staff in order to work with problem solving.

. Technical writing and documentation review abilities.

. Demonstrable experience of working with external development partners and manufacturers.
