Where you’ll belong
Within Testing Technology we establish and develop relationships with test engineers within almost all system areas of the vehicle as well as building an understanding of the technology within those areas. We provide solutions for testing environments and prototype builds within R&D.

Test Facilities Development is essentially committed to develop, procure and install equipment and facilities within R&D. We provide advanced engineering from an initial pilot study to a fully operational test/pilot plant environment including documentation and training, both for minor equipment and also for more extensive facilities. Most of our work are performed in projects in close collaboration with in-house stakeholders, the purchasing department, consultants and external entrepreneurs. Do you want to contribute? We can offer you a broad role where you will take part in engineering, installation, commissioning, final tests and co-ordination, all in order to provide measuring data that lay the foundation for our future cars.

Your Contribution
You will define and lead assignments that aim to deliver production equipment and test solutions for pilot plant, laboratories and proving grounds within R&D. Typical laboratories and facilities are battery labs, electrical powertrain and motor testing, HIL-systems, crash testing, durability, pilot plant, concept centre etc. The result from the test equipment is measuring data used in our car development projects.

Our projects are within the automation area, from early investigations to implementing of projects and your main focus will be to create specifications and technical solutions together with concerned parties. The role also demands to participate in investment projects with the responsibility for time, function and cost. This also includes budget work, follow up and planning & coordination of internal resources and suppliers. Together with the internal customer gather requirements and create use cases to be used in the requirement specification. Installation, commissioning, and acceptance test of testing equipment.

You will be responsible for investments of testing equipment, computer, control systems and IT-network and in collaboration with purchasing you will handle requests for quotations and participate in the procurement of test automation systems and project follow-up. Budget work, follow up, planning and coordination of both internal resources and suppliers will be part of your tasks. You will also be involved in the installation, commissioning, and acceptance test of testing equipment.

Skills are important
We see that you have at least a B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechanical or similar, as well as five years of experience of testing technology or industrial automation. You are well acquainted with project work and have good knowledge in data technology, industrial communication, data acquisition, gathering of requirements, creation of use cases, process analysis & architecture for test automation.

On a personal level, you always see to the customer and the user experience first. You are able to find new and different ways to reach the goal. You are comfortable taking the lead and like to be the one who makes things happen! You enjoy working together with others, you are a transparent and great communicator.
