As the head of Project Management, you will be responsible for driving the performance of the projects under execution, staffing of the projects with regards to project management functions, forecasting the revenues for projects and driving continuous improvement. You support the sales team on sales pursuits and are responsible for competence development for the project management hoisting team.
Reporting to the Global Product Group Manager, you will be ensuring projects follow sound methodology and execution practices in accordance with internal standard procedures.


Your responsibilities
Ensuring that an integrated schedule and cost control performance measurement process for the project is provided
Overseeing that ABB instructions and guidelines are followed by the teams
Developing and continuously improving project control processes, based on ABB guidelines and industry best practices
Participating in project reviews, composing reports and updates required for project data in various tools for management information and project analysis
Communicating project progress and control issues to project management team and offering solutions
Acting as the interface to ABB’s PM community horizontally in process industries and vertically in ABB, promoting and sharing project solutions across all sites to maximize best practice sharing and re-use of processes, tools and expert knowledge to expand the business division memory/best practice framework
Leading virtual teams with a focus on project process improvement and offering insights when facing with project delivery challenge



Your background
10+ years experience in product development, 5+ years in project management and/or line management
Sound knowledge of advanced project management and proven track record of project delivery
Experience in hoisting projects would be a plus
Good written and verbal skills in English
Possessing a global mindset
Strategic, structural and result oriented Excellent communication, presentation and team working skills
