Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.Scania has taken the strategic decision to set up a 3rd industrial hub in China - a project to develop and implement full-scale assembly operations has been initiated within Scania Production & Logistics.
We are looking for a Project Management Officer at Logistics in China project. Reporting to the Head of Logistics in China project, with the responsibility to deliver on PMO processes in Logistics. Amongst other, that includes securing ways of working across process areas and cross workstreams. Furthermore to establish and maintain a common toolbox for program management tasks as well as delivering on several areas that lies within the responsibility of the PMO. Job Description
• For assigned projects, assuring quality and transparency of critical project documentation including assignment directives, project plans, resource planning and dependencies.
• Leading, managing and supporting Local Project Leads and Project Coordinators with structure, formats, methods and experience
• Coordinating, overseeing and reporting on the development of assigned projects in Logistics
• Evaluate project budgets, risks and implementing mitigation strategies for assigned projects
• Communicating project progress in Logistics and status within PMO
Your skills
• Open-minded, ability to work in an international and diverse as well as fast changing environment, reliable, highly motivated and proactive team-player
• Experience working with and within heterogenous teams and specifically (global) projects
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Relevant educational qualification and proven experience in a PMO structure
• Experienced in multi-channel transformation projects and change management is a clear advantage
• Fluent in English
