Project Manager

We are now looking for a communicative Project Manager who enjoys creating structure and transparency! Understanding of complex projects and a drive for delivering project scope is essential.

Your role

As a Project Manager for Special Mission and Regional Aircraft (SMRA) you will work together with the project management team with the contract responsible to help lead complex, high priority aircraft modification projects.

The position entails responsibility for a project area, i.e. owning cost and schedule estimates, defining delivery plans, risk and opportunity assessments and ensuring that Saab's project and airworthiness processes are handled correctly. You will play a key role in delivering the project scope on time, and within budget. This can also include presentations to contract responsible/owner on project updates, project cycle, and expected results.

Over time the project management tasks will vary in both complexity and scope and we will together set your individual development plan according to your earlier experiences and career interests.

Your profile

We are looking for a driven project manager with the ability to both see the big picture and understand the details where necessary. You are a good communicator with the ability to create trust and commitment among those in your team and project stakeholders.

For this job, you need to be organized and able to manage yourself and your team in a project.

You strive to identify new possibilities, challenges and ways to be more efficient and you act on them.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
