Manage a project within the Northvolt Labs programs team in ramping up a subset of the campus within budget and on schedule. Responsibilities will cover concept, basic, and detailed design and execution phases. Coordination of Northvolt and contractor resources to ensure successful execution and completion of the project.
Key responsibilities
Project management of a project within the Northvolt Labs campus programs, including:
Coordination of conceptual, basic, detailed engineering design, construction, commissioning, and start-up
Scope definition and change management
Schedule control and integration
Preparation of RFQs and driving the procurement process
Working with procurement and logistics for equipment delivery
Internal and external stakeholder management
Interface management
Project budget and progress reporting to Program Manager
Contribute to development of internal processes
Drive Health, Safety and Environmental performance
Monitor Quality
Qualifications/education/experience
BSc or MSc degree, in Engineering / Industrial Engineering / Management
Previous experience as Project Manager or Project Engineer on multidiscipline projects.
Preferably 5+ years of relevant experience.
Industrial facilities background – Semiconductors, Pharmaceutical, Chemical Processing, Oil & Gas, Mining, Mineral Processing or similar.
Project/Program management tool kit including scheduling and project leadership
Must have worked in multi-cultural environment
Specific Skills/Abilities
Excellent English written and oral skills, Swedish is a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Project
Highly execution-oriented
Excellent time management skills
Strong skills as communicator, both internally as well as externally to suppliers
Collaborative, energetic approach to engage cross functional team
Desire to learn, lead, and eventually master a new industry in Europe
