The R&D function includes product development departments for Urology (LoFric hydrophilic urinary catheters) and Surgery (wound drains, suction sets, autologous blood transfusion sets), and departments for Project Management, R&D Support and Clinical Research.
The R&D function is now looking to employ an experienced Project Manager for product development projects.
DESCRIPTION
The work includes executing and managing our projects to world-class level. Key responsibilities include resourcing projects according to the Wellspect project portfolio and business priorities, providing complete gate material and other decision platforms for management. You will lead presentations at the Product Portfolio Committee and gate meetings to present the status of on-going projects.
You are expected to maintain a detailed project, including utilization of resources, cost and time management, secure compliance to and reporting of project budgets, timelines and deliverables. You will contribute to the constant improvement of Wellspect practices in project management. It is important that you are able to secure a high level of communication and interactivity between all involved in given projects as well as maintain a high level of coordination and alignment between line management and project management ? across the entire organization with timely involvement of sales, QA & RA, IT, Marketing, Finance and Production.
The Project Manager will report directly to the Vice President of R&D.
QUALIFICATIONS
The person we are looking for should have an academic background in engineering, physics, medical/biologic or equivalent. You have documented results in managing larger projects in Life Science, preferably medical devices. We expect you to have great experience and knowledge of project management tools, stage-gate project structure, and full command of project management IT instruments and systems.
You have strong personal leadership competencies of multidisciplinary and international teams, as well as excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills all which are highly valued personal qualities for this position. Full command of the English language, verbal and written, is crucial and we believe that you command the Swedish language, although it is not a pre-requisite.
