Kongsberg Maritime Sweden is looking for a skilled project manager who can lead various marine aftermarket projects, are you our next colleague?

As project manager in aftermarket, you become a part of Global Customer Support and member of a team focusing especially on customer-specific overall commitments. Here, the level of ambition is high when it comes to customer experience. Our team has a constant focus on the motto the whole is greater than the sum of its parts and we hope that you together with your energy and interest in technology share that attitude with us.
In your role, you are responsible for the planning, leading and follow-up of various installation and overhaul projects at the customer location. Since the projects are executed exclusively at various shipyards around the world, travel is included in this role. Destinations can be almost anywhere in the world and normally occurs 4-5 times a year. At the shipyard, you operate as the natural leader for staff within the project and serve as the customers focal point of contact.
Typical work tasks:
• support our sales staff in preparing quotes – pre-study
• work with technical specifications - scope of supply
• work with pre-calculations and monitor delivery times - planning
• be responsible for continuous follow-up and problem solving - commercially and technically
• be responsible for post-calculation - cost follow-up
• coordination of the project group - both internal and external resources
What are we looking for?
We are looking for an educational background in the form of a master's or bachelor's degree in engineering with a technical and/or financial orientation. The work life experience we are looking for is characterized by several years of experience of leading projects out in the field, these have preferably been of technical nature. Behind this experience is probably also some kind of education in project management accompanied with knowledge in group dynamics and communication. In our global organization a high level of English, both written and oral, is fundamental for your success.
