Project Manager - Aftermarket

Kongsberg Maritime Sweden is looking for a skilled project manager who can lead various marine aftermarket projects. In our business unit in Kristinehamn, we are experts on delivering high-end propulsion solutions for the maritime sector. As project manager in aftermarket, you become a part of Global Customer Support and member of a team focusing especially on customer-specific overall commitments. Here, the level of ambition is high when it comes to customer experience. In your role, you are responsible for the planning, leading, and follow-up of various refit, retrofit and installation projects. With your base in Kristinehamn you coordinate projects remotely and serve as the customers focal point of contact. Since projects are executed exclusively at various shipyards around the world, communication with internal and external resources is of utmost importance.

Typical work tasks:
• support our sales staff in preparing quotes – pre-study
• work with technical specifications - scope of supply
• work with pre-calculations and monitor delivery times - planning
• be responsible for continuous follow-up and problem solving - commercially and technically
• be responsible for post-calculation - cost follow-up
• coordination of the project group - both internal and external resources

What are we looking for?
We are looking for an educational background in the form of a master's or bachelor's degree in engineering with a technical and/or financial orientation. The work life experience we are looking for is characterized by several years of experience of leading projects out in the field, these have preferably been of technical nature. Behind this experience is probably also some kind of education in project management accompanied with knowledge in group dynamics and communication. In our global organization a high level of English, both written and oral, is fundamental for your success.
