We are now strengthening our team with an Aftermarket Project Manager who has experience from the Engineering and Aftermarket areas. Are You the one we are looking for?
Aftermarket Technology provides Volvo Trucks, Renault Trucks, Mack Trucks, VECV and partly Volvo Construction Equipment, Volvo Bus and Volvo Penta with the best possible solutions supporting their aftermarket business. Thanks to our deep technical, business and customer knowledge, we deliver solutions and services for the salesmen, the mechanics and parts personnel at dealerships and other service points such as Spare Parts Assortment, Parts Information, Diagnostics and Repair Information, Service Planning and supporting systems solutions and tools. In Aftermarket Technology we aim at securing that Volvo Group Truck vehicles can be easily maintained to secure uptime. Aftermarket Technology teams are working close to engineering functions as well as to end customers and are located in Hagerstown, Greensboro, Lyon, Gothenburg, Curitiba, Bangalore and Brisbane.
Job Summary
Within the Aftermarket Project Office in Gothenburg, you will have the opportunity to work in projects developing the Heavy Duty Vehicle (FH/FM/FMX) and Powertrain Range (Platform Engine, Transmission, Alternative Fuels and Electromobility).

Accountabilities/Responsibilities
As Project Manager Aftermarket (AMPM), you will be a key player in the Vehicle and Powertrain projects managing aftermarket areas in order to maximize vehicle and powertrain efficiency and customer uptime.
You will have the possibility to work and develop in an enthusiastic and challenging global atmosphere surrounded by skilled co-workers. You will work in close cooperation with a variety of stakeholders and solution providers e.g. GTT Engineering and Quality, Group Truck Business Areas (Renault, Volvo, Mack, Trucks and Volvo Bus), Group Trucks Operations (GTO) and the line-functions in After Market Technology (AMT) to secure a complete aftermarket delivery supporting maintainability (diagnostics, spare parts, service and repair, service intervals) as well as taking part of securing the AM business opportunities.
You will be responsible for the Aftermarket part and work with a broad perspective from concept/technology developments in the early phases – to the later project phases managing planning, development and delivery of the Aftermarket support products.
Main responsibilities
Represent the Aftermarket in the Cross Functional project management team lead by the GTT Cross-Functional Leader. such as VDT Leader (Vehicle Development Leader), CPM/PME (Chief Project Manager), Quality Leader (PMQJ)
Manage the Aftermarket project team
Manage the Aftermarket project Quality Delivery Cost Feature according to set targets
Take an active role in developing future ways of working in aftermarket projects, with an end user and customer mindset

You possess a solid interest in supplying the best possible support and delivery to the end customer.
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills
Bachelor Science degree in engineering or equivalent
Project Management or equivalent experience
PMP certification is a merit
Background of working in global x-functional global development teams
Skilled in Product Development Process
Technical experience in Automotive business
Understanding of the Aftermarket business and workshop environment
Track record in delivering vs set targets at agreed time by using a structured, longsighted and fact based way of working
Clear communication, verbally and in writing
Fluent in English, verbally and in writing
