Dedicated to a sustainable future
The electrification trend within the automotive business is moving rapidly. For P&L this means that we need to prepare for ramping up production of electrical vehicles and help Scania become more sustainable. One major component in the electrical vehicle is the battery. Therefore we have set up a project team with focus to develop the process for inhouse production of batteries.
The projects for inhouse production aim to acquire, install and start up the production of new generation batteries on site in Sweden and in Europe. The work is cross functional and conducted in close cooperation with purchasing, R&D departments and production partners within the Traton Group.
The project team is expanding and We are now looking to reinforce with one Project manager. We are looking for a highly competent and flexible team player, that is dedicated to a sustainable future.
Vacant positions
As a Project manager the main tasks include:
• Participation in the performance of the initial pre-study. Work with strategic tasks related to equipment, investment, logistics and development of process and product.
• Preparation and execution of project plans.
• Conduction of various analysis, risk assessments and other evaluations following PD and investment processes
• Participation in the process to acquire new production lines which includes work with specification of requirements for equipment and product, evaluating production concepts, etc.
• Prepare and execute plan for sub-projects together with selected suppliers.
Your profile:
Openness, helpfulness, flexibility, and interpersonal skills are valued high.
Bachelor or Master of Science degree and minimum 5-6 years of experience from Project management, Industrial engineering, logistics development or similar work experience are necessary for the role.
Knowledge of Scania processes and work methods are highly valued.
Work experience from production and logistics environment is essential.
Fluent in spoken and written English is mandatory due to the international nature of the project. German language is favourable.
The work is closely conducted with production partners in Traton as well as various suppliers and therefore might travels abroad be part of your job.
You will achieve
A wide connection network within Production & Logistics as well as within other functions. You will work with several other units as well as outside parties and be asked to present material for management teams on all levels of the company.
Furthermore you will be part of a team exploring a new field within Scania Production & Logistics.
