What you will be a part of
Support and Services, a Business Area of Saab, supplies a wide range of services and integrated support solutions to customers in defence and commercial markets for cost-efficient support of systems and platforms through their life cycle. 
Airborne ISR (Airborne Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance) is a Business Unit of Support and Services and provides, through co-operations with other Business Areas and Business Units within Saab and external suppliers and partners, complete Airborne Surveillance Solutions, Aircraft Integrations and modifications as well as Customised Integrated Logistics support to the global market.Current customers operates mainly Saab 340 and Saab 2000 ERIEYE AEW&C, however, for future customers we are shifting focus to new platforms such as Bombardier G6000 for the GlobalEye and the Swordfish Maritime Patrol Aircraft.Bid Operations co-ordinates all bid work according to Winning Business for the Business Unit. With expanding market opportunities, high customer interest and several on-going projects we need to strengthen our team with an experinced project manager.



Your role
The Project Bid Manager will lead and coordinate the bid team for all our products, for both our civil and military customers. You will be part of a well defined bid team working closely with other Saab Business Areas and Support & Services Business Units as well as external partners.Your responsibilites lay within our winning business process and specifically the preperation, compilation and packaging of our bid offer. With the help from your team you will gather costs from participating departments, estimated delivery times and risk assesment.You will work closely with our product sales responsible in the marketing department and as well our other departments within AISR and other business areas and business units within Saab and ofcourse our external partners. You report to your Department manager and Product Sales Responsible.

Your skills and experience
We are looking for a Project Bid Manager with experience of project management or bid management in complex projects. The ability to understand complex cost structures with good knowledge in project economy is also required. You have a systematic mindset and focus on delivering mile stones.Good leadership qualities with the ability to build and maintain relations is also required as well a good communicating skills and technical understanding.Its meritorious if you have experience in aircraft or aircraft related Projects.
