What we are looking for
Schneider Electric has a challenging opportunity for a passionate individual to assume the role of Project Manager, for Digital Buildings BMS Board of Change in our office of Lund.
Responsibilities
Building Management System is a large value stream organized in 5 programs under Digital Buildings. The Board of Change is the entity responsible to manage many of the Life Cycle projects such as evolution/adaptations, transition (PWP), Productivity (QVE), Supply Chain and other related projects, etc. The Board of Change also have some level of sync with different programs managing the major development, roadmaps and releases:
• Own, manage and be accountable for the projects in your scope in terms of scope delivery, time/schedule, cash out, quality.
• Scope and nature of projects:
+ Mainly BMS offers life cycle projects such as evolution/adaptations, transition (PWP), Productivity (QVE), Supply Chain and other related projects, etc.
+ Based on roadmap needs, also drive larger projects (HW, FW, SW, OEM/ODM…) in BMS programs.
• Focus on managing critical path and risks, not solely on tasks tracking
• Motivate and challenge teams to deliver according to plan.
• Ensure business decision-making throughout the team & process.
• Facilitating planning, aggregate objectives, ensure proper vision, and execution
• Regularly publishing information to ensure visibility, transparency and escalation
• Ensure capacity management in sync with resource mgrs
• Drive culture of continuous improvement (in SAFe/Agile environment)
• Put customer and quality at the center of the project
Required skills and experiences
• Bachelor’s Degree in electronic/electrical engineering or equivalent
• >5 yrs of experience of project management in HW, FW, SW environment
• Experience in R&D project and life cycle management working with supply chain and factories
• Understanding of offer strategy and ability to identify solutions
• Experience working with multi-site & remote teams
• Strong skills in communication, risk assessment, change management, stakeholder management, and the ability to influence and convince
• Experience working with external agencies/contracts to complete work streams
• Strong communication skills in writing and verbal
• Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs
• Very motivated and self-driven
Preferred
• Experience launching products to global markets
• Agile training/experience
• PMP certification
• Building management knowledge (BMS)
