You will be a part of the Global Compliance & Ethics team within Volvo Cars, located at Headquarters in Göteborg, Sweden, reporting directly to the Chief Compliance & Ethics Officer. You will join a highly motivated, truly global team, managing a dynamic and diverse workload across multiple jurisdictions and in support of key business initiatives.
The Project Manager – Compliance & Ethics will play an essential role in ensuring that the Compliance & Ethics organization deliver on its strategic objectives and operational priorities. By managing resources, setting priorities, planning projects as well as monitoring and reporting on progress, you will together with the Compliance & Ethics team and business stakeholders contribute to our ambition to be a leading premium car brand.
What You’ll Do
Your main responsibilities will be to
* Support the Chief Compliance & Ethics Officer in strategic change initiatives within the Compliance & Ethics organization
* Collaborate with other department leaders to drive change projects and programs
* Drive project management planning and stakeholder communication
* Ensure project progression and provide follow-up reports
More specifically you will focus on
* Developing and managing project governance structure, including ensuring that projects are prioritized and aligned to short- and long-term operational and strategic objectives, help developing KPIs, managing information flows, as well as assessing and mitigating project-related risks.
* In dialogue with the Chief Compliance & Ethics Officer or other stakeholders planning and scheduling resources, including allocating resources and assigning team members and/or leaders to various deliverables, creating visibility of resource allocation, competency and capacity, managing dependencies as well as performing resource forecasts.
* Providing management reports, including report on status and health of projects, progress and project performance as well as financial performance.
* Facilitating team collaboration and communication, including managing information flows and contacts as well as aligning parallel initiatives.
Do you fit the profile?
To succeed in this role we believe that you, as a minimum, carry a bachelor’s degree in project management (or other related field) or have another relevant background with extensive experience in leading projects in multinational environments.
You will possess excellent organizational skills and have great experience in utilizing project management software and tools. In your professional life, you have proven the ability to drive and manage projects, increase resource utilization and maneuver several interorganizational interests.
Moreover, proven understanding and experience from having worked within the field of compliance and ethics, e.g., data protection, anti-corruption, due diligence, competition law, etc. will be a merit.
You have a high level of business, strategy and compliance acumen and are eager to develop the bridge between the business and the Compliance & Ethics organization, facilitating cross-functional collaboration to ensure the most effective and efficient management of these topics.
You have strong leadership skills and have a diplomatic ability to influence and develop teams and stakeholders. You also see yourself as a good communicator always seeking improvement potential in a multi-professional context. This is also shown in your ability of understanding and pinpointing the essence in issues and being able to present in an accessible and communicative way, through PowerPoint or other visualizing tools.
