Aarke´s award-winning sparkling water makers are designed in Sweden and sold in over 30 markets worldwide. Aarke has built an international reputation for innovative thinking, product development and design. Founded in 2013 by two experienced industrial designers, the brand is on a mission to redefine the home appliances industry.

Aarke prides itself on taking ideas from concept to market, always pushing and testing the boundaries of innovation and technology. We are now looking to strengthen our R&D team with a Project Manager.

Tasks
As a Project Manager at Aarke, you will be surrounded by highly skilled colleagues with a solid track record of innovation and design at the highest international level, but humble enough to appreciate new ideas where your creativity and drive will have a clear impact on the company's success. Normal work tasks involve leading projects, from concept to mass production where you coordinate activities between design, engineering, marketing and operations.

The team is responsible for the entire process from idea to a finalized mass-produced item, so an understanding of the whole chain, from modern consumer behavior, via conceptualization, industrial design, design for manufacturing and production technology is needed. Since we work with many projects at any given point in time, it is important that you can prioritize time, resources, prepare accurate planning and manage whole projects.

You will have the opportunity to travel in this role, mainly for production related visits, but also to visit trade shows a few times a year.

Your profile
We believe that the person we are looking for is both practical and theoretical, but most of all a skilled project manager with a strong sense of on-time-delivery of projects and tasks. As a person, we believe that you are positive, committed to what you do and a good communicator.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering
2-3 years of experience in project management, preferably within new product development of consumer appliances.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
Experience in product development and good knowledge about the product development process.
Written and spoken English.
Good knowledge in at least one CAD software.
