Reference number: 434 JOB DESCRIPTION As Project Manager you will lead several projects and activities of various complexity and size.All those projects will be related to different improvements that need to be done in our products either in hardware, software or both.The role includes: * Project management of technology qualifications and [[ projects * Enforce the collaboration with other development units * Contribute to develop our processes and methodology YOURQUALIFICATIONS We believe you are a creative, driven and goal oriented project manager that have the ability to promote good team spirit and a creative work environment.You have a Master's degree or equivalent in engineering, preferably within software or hardware development and some years of project management experience.Experience with project management tools such as MS-Project and experience with algorithm development projects and/or system SW projects are preferred.Very good Swedish and English communication skills, both oral and writing are required.If you have experience of some additional area(s) within network architecture, system design, TCP/IP infrastructure, network protocols, ease-of-use, web services, distributed audio/video applications, API design or network security it is considered as a merit.To be successful you should be innovative and able to think outside the box.THE CORE TECHNOLOGIES TEAM The Core Technologies team are responsible for the long-term technology agenda within the strategic areas Analytics Imaging and System.We perform technology roadmapping; execute the roadmap by developing technologies and assist toward platform integration of technologies.We also act as a competence centre within Axis with regard to the core competence areas.In addition to this we define test methods and standards to be used by Axis as a whole.[ The Analytics & Systems competence group within Core Technologies focus their work on identifying and implementing technologies aimed at increasing the value of the network for surveillance applications.This includes image analysis, object tracking, media technologies, cloud computing and communication as well as leveraging system functionality by developing and exploiting synergies across the network.WHAT CAN AXIS DO FOR YOU By joining the world market leader in IP cameras you will be in a unique position to influence the role of network technologies and for surveillance system applications.You will also be involved in Axis strategic technology planning process and contribute to core technologies used in future Axis offerings.You will thus play an important role in ensuring continual market leadership for Axis in the years to come.READY TO ACT?Axis is a company realizing the benefits of a diverse workforce.We know that diversity in groups creates a better working environment and promotes creativity, something that is fundamental for our success.
