Project Manager (Courses Europe)

As Project Manager for our European Courses, you support Hyper Island's Courses team in their mission to provide transformative learning experiences for our course participants. You are a planner, a doer, a collaborator, a clear communicator, a team player, and above all: an organizer. You live and breathe service, constantly on the lookout for the most effective and fun way to do things, and to be of service to the teams you collaborate with.



Relationships

Maintaining and building strong relationships with the European B2B team, especially with the Courses sales team and Courses delivery teams.

Maintaining and building strong relationships with incoming course participants and course alumni.

Responsibilities

Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following areas:

Before an online or onsite course:

- Maintaining & creating clear customer-facing communication such as welcome & onboarding emails, landing pages and course calendars.
- Coordinate participant lists and assist with course & participant management, focusing on making sure participants are enrolled into the relevant learning platforms (e.g. Slack).
- Work closely with finance to follow up on invoices


For onsite courses;

- Managing all hospitality-related tasks for onsite courses such as catering, setting up and preparing the studio, welcoming course participants & setting up for lunch, and keeping things nice and tidy.

During an online or onsite course:

- Collaborate with facilitator team about changes and updates, through Slack


After course completion:

- Support participants with their logistics inquiries; creating proof of completion, payment receipts, and any other post-sales activities.
- Perform follow-up surveys, and create and send course certificates.
- Summarize and analyze course data, such as holding interviews with alumni, collect and collate NPS for all courses and more.




Other related tasks:
- Work closely with the Director of Courses, Europe on meeting set profitability and operational targets for the Courses product area.

- Be the point of contact for the UGL course

Areas of control

Maintaining hospitality costs & budgeting

Approving invoices & cost control related to hospitality and course delivery

Requirements

A genuine interest in administration, planning and organization.

Service-minded and eye for the small details that make all the difference.

Attention to detail and ability to self-organize.

Ability to develop and nurture long-term relationships.

Proactive and can think outside of the box.

A love for questioning how things are done and disturbing the status quo.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Any additional languages are a plus.
