To Seco Tools and our Digital Product Services department, we’re now looking for an experienced Project Manager to drive projects for developing new, and improving existing, digital services and solutions. Our team makes sure that all individual digital services close to our product portfolio offer specific functionality and value proposition, as well as a consistent interface, look-and-feel, and overall user experience. Your mission
As our next Project Manager, you facilitate projects and larger improvements for the Digital Product Service –team – aiming to bring structure, insights, improvements, and functional expertise to this process. You drive strategically targeted digital projects from concept to release. Collaborating with stakeholders across our global organization, you proactively engage with our sales, product management, IT and R&D teams to identify opportunities and gaps to maximize impact and efficiency.
Your responsibility includes:
Actively managing digital projects and larger improvements.
Building structure approaches with project leaders to take the solutions to the customers.
Solving complex problems and contributing to new takes on existing solutions.
Driving regular project meetings and steering committee meetings.
Creating, developing and executing the Project Plan and Detailed Design according to project, charter or equivalent.
This position is in Fagersta, although, a flexible location can be an option for the right candidate. Travel volume depends on demands and needs within the business.
Your profile
We’re looking for someone who might have been working within digitalization, digital services, product development or product design – the important thing is that you know how different systems talk to each other. Your skills come from actual experience or from a university degree like Engineering, Product Design, Commercial Economics, Digital Marketing or similar. Depending on the experience you’ve gained, we consider a few years’ experience from the machining-business nice to have. Regardless of your history, you’ve built yourself an agile project management and digital development toolbox that you use independently. Since we’re truly a global organization, you’re fluent in both written and verbal English. Any other languages are a plus.
Your personality is key in this role, characterized by your structured yet agile manner and you always work data-driven with the user experience in mind. You use your visionary mindset to define, describe and prioritize improvements and changes in line with our overall strategy. You see the bigger picture and have a proactive and positive approach towards solving problems – using creativity to find new possibilities. Being a true networker who thrives in a collaborative setting, you practice your communication skills to build high performance and effective teams across business functions. This combined with your excellent project management skills and interest in the digital world makes you a perfect fit for this role!
