Project Manager - Engine Engineering

The Engine Engineering department within Volvo CE is responsible for planning and driving the overall engineering work performed within Engine development. In order to meet the demand for new products we now want to recruit a Project Manager Engineering (PME).

Project Manager Engineering (PME)
As PME you will have the responsibility for the engineering part of a project to deliver a technical solution that meet the product requirements within a given time frame and budget. The development is performed within your own team of engineers at Engine development in Eskilstuna and you are responsible for synchronizing, planning and following up the progress.

As a lot of the work will be synchronized also with internal as well as external partners and customers, some travelling is required and good communication and cooperation skills are essential. Good system and technical understanding is also a must.

As PME you will be part of the project core team where you report to the CPM (Chief Project Manager).

Qualifications:
- Education M.Sc or B.Sc
- Experienced in project Management
- Experienced in Product development
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong in planning and structure work
- Good technical knowledge within the engine area
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Travel up to 20%
