Project Manager Engineering

Volvo Construction Equipment, a business area within the Volvo Group, is one of the world's leading manufacturers of construction equipment such as wheel loaders, excavators, articulated haulers, road development equipment and compact equipment. Production facilities are located in Europe, Asia, North America and Latin America. The engine development department is the core centre within Volvo CE for engines and auxiliary systems. The main work areas are mechanical engine design, performance/application development and mechanical auxiliary system design. Today we develop engine systems for wheel loaders, articulated haulers, excavators and road machinery. We now want to recruit a Project Manager Engineering (PME). As PME you will have the responsibility for the engineering part of the project to secure that deliveries are meeting the product requirements as well as matching the time plan and budget. The work will be performed together with your own team of engineers in Eskilstuna. Since a lot of the work is synchronized with your counterparts at both internal suppliers and customers you need to have good communication and cooperation skills. Good technical knowledge and system understanding is a must. As PME you will be part of the project core team where you report to the CPM (Chief Project Manager). Qualifications: . M.Sc or B.Sc . Experienced in project Management . Experienced in Product development . Strong leadership skills . Good technical knowledge within engine area . Fluent in English and Swedish
