A full-service Financial Institution with a strong foothold in the local Swedish market.
Your responsibilities:
Primary purpose of the role is to support Group Regulatory Reporting in delivery of the Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR) and Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR) Liquidity ratio calculations including recommending approaches, priorities, and timelines and completion of any relevant Project Documentation required.
Ensuring compliance with all relevant aspects of Basel III, Capital Requirement Directive (CRDIV), and CRR with particular focus on Liquidity and with dotted line connection to COREP, FINREP and Leverage at Solo and Consolidated levels
To address any data quality issues or data gaps that may arise.
Engage with the rest of the Regulatory Team to ensure benefits from the Regulatory Change
To work flexibly and to be aware of other project work streams providing guidance and support to those contributing to the project either directly or indirectly
To systematically review Basel III, CRDIV and CRR compliance and document the results in a formal gap analysis document
To compare and reconcile current Basel II returns with new Basel III returns documenting and communicating differences
Liaise with vendors and IT, and other system providers to identify data gaps, evaluate sourcing options and documenting proposed recommendations to Project team, populating specification documents where required
To complete appropriate reviews and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of data logging any data quality issues and liaising with the static data project
To assist in the mapping and development of expected results, including system testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) where required
To work on parallel run's and ensure smooth transitions to BAU
Advise on improvements, simplifying, streamlining and automations where helpful
Awareness of various ongoing projects impacting the Regulatory horizon
Pro-actively and positively engaging with the regulatory team in a changing environment
Your background:
Five years plus within a Regulatory Control department within a Bank
Experience of working on Basel II, Liquidity and other relevant projects
Experience of working in a challenging and changing environment
Product, business and systems knowledge gained through previous Regulatory roles
Fluent in the Swedish and English language
