What you will do 

As a Project Manager for fixed transformation, you will be a driving force in moving our broadband and TV business from a legacy BSS (Business Support System) to our newly developed stack currently in use for our mobile B2C business. This is an opportunity to make Telenor a true FMC player in the B2C domain. 

You will be responsible for setting the plan for our fixed transformation and aligning it with the squads as well as all involved stakeholders. You will work cross functional in our organization and act as cross team project manager. You ensure that you understand the team's needs in order to succeed and work to resolve blockers. You will develop a solid understanding of our BSS stack and help solve real issues affecting our customers. 

 

Your base of operations 

You will be part of a team of Product Owners continuously developing the two current BSS stacks that we operate in. Your role is to ensure that we get action into our plans to merge these two systems into one. In that role you will collaborate closely with our product management team to drive business decisions, the Product Owners to drive needed development and our IT organization to secure that we have the right resources in place to make this change happen. 

 

Who you are 

To succeed in the role as a Project Manager at Telenor, we believe that you have several years’ experience as a Project Manager or similar. You are a task master, that loves structuring problems into plans. When you or the project get stuck your natural solution is to find the next best path forward. You are inspiring and get people to go that extra mile to achieve the plan that’s in front of them. You can make a complex analysis easily understandable, and you are able to see the helicopter view as well as the details.
