Role Summary:

The Product Stewardship team proactively supports the GE Healthcare Life Sciences (LS) business with reliable project execution to ensure product compliance. The Project Manager (PM) leads global and cross-functional activities and projects to ensure that all LS products will comply with applicable regulations. The PM is responsible for effective team execution with a holistic view as well as communicating project status and escalating issues when appropriate to facilitate transparency.

Essential Responsibilities:

As Project Manager you will be leading global cross-functional product compliance projects for new upcoming regulations across the Life Science business. Your main focus will be on managing projects to ensure no stop shipments due to product compliance reasons.

Project Manager's responsibilities include:

Working closely with all cross-functional groups in delivering effective processes and ways of working to comply with directives, legislation and compliance requirements.
Accountable for achieving quality objectives, reach agreed objectives for specification, time and cost as well as simplifies ways of working.
Continuously seeking and implementing improvements in processes and the project execution model.
Reporting status, progress and issues to stake holder committees in a clear way and by the company set standard.
Managing projects with a risk based approach and making decisions based on business objectives.
Responsible for cost and budget for the projects including estimating budgets, forecasting and reporting.
Interfacing with Regulatory Affairs, Legal and other internal organizations to understand the strategy for achieving product compliance in all areas of the Life Sciences business.
Working closely with GE Healthcare and other businesses for knowledge sharing, ideas of simplification and ways of working. Leading continuous improvement activities by driving the implementation of process and product quality improvement initiatives.
Identifying and reporting any quality or compliance concerns and taking immediate corrective action as required.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role we believe the right candidate will have a genuine interest in compliance and regulatory questions, enjoy working in a matrix organization and have an experience from successfully driving complex projects from start to finish.
You have a Bachelor?s Degree in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Mechanical, Electrical engineering or equivalent experience and a minimum of three years of relevant project leadership experience involving global teams.
Professional experience from a global environment with English as the primary language is an advantage. We believe you have experience from and enjoy working with product compliance, EU Directives and other regulatory standards.
The candidate we are looking for has proven ability to be a driven finisher with an eye for details and rigorous data management skills.
EU work permit is required.
