Johnson Controls Global Marine and Offshore Service, Norrköping, Sweden, continues to build for the future within the field of marine refrigeration services and seeks a service project manager to lead the execution of various service jobs – ranging from smaller on-demand services up to large retrofit projects.
What you will do
At Johnson Controls Global Marine and Offshore Service, we now have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team in Norrköping as our new service project manager. The team today consist of 5 persons running projects for mainly air condition chillers installed on large cruise ships. The service contracts led by the project manager can be from a small software upgrade in the plc controlling one of the chillers, to large projects like replacing chiller in the ship dry dock or upgrading complete control systems on the HVAC system on the vessels. We also run all repair and maintenance contract in cooperation with our technical department and service tech and it’s the project manager responsibility to coordinate all job and travel requirements and keep track of the finance in the project.

On a daily basis, you lead the execution of a variety of service jobs, ranging from the delivery of single components up to large and complex systems solutions. You lead purchasing and logistics for material supplies. You work closely with our field service team to co-ordinate the dispatch of service technicians to site. You secure that legal and contractual obligations are met by all involved parties. And you support our sales team with technical guidance in their creation of tailored customer offerings.
What we look for
We believe the candidate has a mechanical or electrical engineering degree (BSc or MSc), experience from industrial installations or service business – and experience and knowledge in automation & controls. Experience from the field of refrigeration is a merit, although not critical. Fluency in English, written and spoken, is a must. Other keywords that represent the role would be.
