The Project Manager for Infrastructure and Groundworks is responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects related to infrastructure and groundworks. This role involves planning, coordinating, and executing projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Team Management: Lead and manage project teams, including subcontractors and suppliers, to ensure efficient project execution.
Quality Control: Ensure all work is performed to the highest quality standards and in compliance with relevant regulations and specifications.
Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, control costs, and ensure financial efficiency.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and budgets.
Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members throughout the project lifecycle.
Progress Monitoring: Track project progress, prepare regular status reports, and adjust plans as necessary to meet project goals.
Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure all project activities comply with health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
Permitting and Approvals: Coordinate with local authorities to obtain necessary permits and approvals for project activities.
Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project promptly and effectively.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar work experience
Proven experience as a Project Manager in infrastructure and groundworks.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and equipment.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Excellent communication & presentation skills
Excellent English written and oral skills.
Proficient in MS applications, Power platform is a plus.
Must have worked in multi-cultural environment.
Personal qualities:
Proven experience as a Project Manager in infrastructure and groundworks.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and equipment.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
