Project Manager

International projects in a market leading engineering company

Howden Axial Fans is a global market leader and a partner for the industry within large and technically advanced axial fans worldwide. Howden Axial Fans is very successful and needs to strengthen their project organisation with two Project Managers.

As a Project Manager your responsibilities are to deliver projects in time, according to specifications, and within budget. You are also our point of contact for customers when executing projects. This means that you are responsible for the project from order to commissioning and for handing the project over to our Aftermarket department. The projects can be up to 15 M? in scope. The company acts in an international environment and the position requires travelling up to 60 days a year.

It is expected that you are proactive which means that you analyse, plan and act to ensure the project is delivered according to the project contract. You will work closely with our customers and with our internal departments. It is also required that you motivate and coach your team members to secure our customer?s expectations are met. You will be a part of the Project Department along with 11 colleagues, and the position will be based in Växjö or in Naestved. You report directly to the Project Department Manager.

To be successful in this role you need to have a university degree in engineering or equal. You probably have experience from technical areas and you understand technical specifications, terms and conditions documents, etc. Your previous assignments have included commercial issues and you are fluent in English both written and orally as this is the official language within Howden.

As a person you are driven and stimulated by achieving your goals. You are confident, social, and have the ability to build long-lasting relations. The characteristics of the projects require the ability to organise, analyse, plan and act as well as communicate with both customers and internal departments.
