The Project Manager is a central part of AFRY's in-house project delivery organization, where we create customized solutions on behalf of our customers. In this position, you have clear responsibilities related to personnel and financials in projects/assignments and will actively contribute to the development of the delivery model in terms of improvements, growth, and employee engagement. You will actively cooperate with managers and employees across AFRY, to ensure the customers’ and AFRY’s best interest in all situations and decisions.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Manage product development projects including SW, electrical HW, and mechanical parts but also smaller discipline, specific projects.
Manage projects according to our project processes
Managing and mitigation of project risks
Presenting and managing the project budget.
Continuously reporting to project steering group.
Support in sales of new business opportunities and ongoing business development

Who are you?
You have a genuine interest in Project Managing and Product Development, and one of your biggest traits is that you are a people leader with the ability to create engagement and lead employees. To be able to support and lead a technical team and develop employees, we also believe that you have experience within Embedded Product Development - such as Embedded Software Development, Hardware Development, and Production.
Besides this, you are a person who easily establishes personal credibility and trust with others. We also think you're used to making difficult decisions and identify business opportunities outside your own functional area. You are a strong communicator and a change advocate who builds strong and long-lasting customer relationships.
Requirements

Bachelor in Engineering
Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Management
Background from Software, Electronics, or Mechanical Development
Fluent in English (speaking and writing)

Meritorious
Experience of/from

quality related work
managing project budget
technical sales and quotation work
language skills in Swedish (speaking and writing)
