Our customer is a Spanish multinational technology company specialized in systems integration within infrastructure.
For the current job opening, we are looking for a Project Manager for the Nordics division.
The essential duties and responsibilities for this job are connected to the implementation of the Technical Installations systems along the infrastructure project "Tingstadstunnel", (Gothenburg).
The Project Leader will be based in Stockholm, although occasional travel to Gothenburg is expected. The essential duties connected to this position will be:
- Assume full responsibility for the successful implementation of the project.
- Deliver on time, on budget and guaranteeing quality
- Planning and monitoring
- Time Planning - Managing the project time plan
- Setting deadlines and ensuring that projects remain on schedule
- Complying with the milestones set by the Customer
- Financial Control - Reporting to the Financial Manager in Nordics
- Keep control of the project costs and report the monthly progress
- Complete the Project sticking to the agreed-upon budget
- ÄTA management
- Procurement management - Choosing vendors and subcontractors
- Entering into agreements regarding all project procurements
- Manage relationships with vendors & subcontractors
- Communication - Interfacing with the project team
- Lead a team of 5-7 engineers
- Represent company during management meetings
- Ensure Customer satisfaction
- Creating a vision around the project to provide team members with a sense of purpose and motivation
- Providing updates to relevant stakeholders
- Administration- Administration and daily work on client’s platforms for documentation, notifications, etc
- Quality management - Risk management
- Prepare and follow-up project management plans
Functions / Tasks / Responsibilities
The minimum mandatory requirements for this job position are:
- Swedish mother tongue and proficiency in English with excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Engineering university degree (or equivalent)
- At least 5 years of demonstrable experience in similar assignments
- Proven working experience in project management
- Team management
- Conflict resolution
- Good planning skills
- Communication skills
- Extensive use of MS Office
- Good time management
- Must demonstrate eligibility to work in Sweden
- Leadership skills
- Big picture thinking and vision
- Attention to detail
Additional valuable skills:
- Knowledge / experience working with Technical systems in road & tunnel infrastructure (electromechanical systems)
- Previous working experience with Sweden’s national authorities (i.e. Trafikverket)
- PMP certification
- Previous experience handling standard contracts AB / ABT
- Certification as BAS-P
