Project Manager Industry

Arbetsbeskrivning

Can you, with your extensive background in the industry, coordinate and lead various technical disciplines towards a common goal? Then come work with us towards a sustainable future! With us, you will work on projects within the green transition of the industry in Sweden and internationally. (We are looking for several people for this position.)
PROCESS & PROJECTS IN GOTHENBURG
Within our department, process engineers, project managers, purchasers, construction and installation managers, mechanical engineers, and project engineers with diverse backgrounds and experiences work together. What unites us is our passion for engaging in interesting and progressive industrial projects, where our technical expertise allows us to contribute to the transition that Swedish industries are undergoing. With our tailored solutions, we help our clients meet regulatory requirements and remain competitive in their markets. We primarily work on projects within the markets of refining/petrochemicals, water treatment, energy, and forestry. Our methodology is based on PMbook, and we have a cost estimation methodology for investment projects.
YOUR ROLE IN SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
In this position, you will be part of our global team of experts and work closely with clients, project members, the team leader, the market manager, and the department manager. Your primary task will be to manage COWI's EPCm projects or other large, multidisciplinary projects at the client's site and within their organization. Your tasks will encompass different project phases: planning, execution, monitoring and control, and closing, with the aim of delivering projects according to the set schedule, budget, and quality.
In your daily project management work, you will:
Follow applicable contracts and execute multidisciplinary projects
Communicate with the project's various stakeholders
Plan time and resources
Manage economics, quality, safety, procurement, and scope
Handle the project's risks and opportunities (R&O)

Our employees are our greatest asset. It is our staff who make the projects successful. At COWI, you get a unique opportunity to learn from the best and develop your potential, and you get to participate in shaping the future society. Together with your manager, you will create a plan for your own development, and you will have the opportunity to build your expertise day by day in both local and global projects.
YOUR EXPERTISE. OUR TEAM. TOGETHER WE SHAPE THE FUTURE
Your expertise is the key to our success. We work across borders and within different business areas, sharing our knowledge and building strong relationships with customers and colleagues. You contribute with your expertise while having the opportunity to learn from the best in the field.
To succeed in this role, we believe it helps if you are social, unpretentious, and have a strong interest in satisfied customers and new business opportunities. You also need to have the following:
Minimum a bachelor's degree in project management/technical education such as mechanical, chemical, or electrical engineering
Experience with multidisciplinary EPC/EPCm projects with project organizations of at least 10 project members
