Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a Project Manager Infrastructure to join our stellar team in Stockholm.
In joining us you will play an important part from the very start in building one of the first large scale European battery factories. Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon free society.
This role is a part of the infrastructure team that is responsible for parts of the continued availability and support of Northvolt Ett Gigafactory, in Skellefteå. You will work in a fast-paced environment through multiple areas understanding the bigger picture, and at the same time not afraid to provide in-depth support when required.
Responsibilities cover the coordination and follow-up of activities across technical functions such as civil, mechanical, electrical, automation, as well as coordination with the municipality and construction team on-site in Skellefteå. You will have an opportunity to gain increasing responsibilities as you mature in this role.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Managing overall project progress (ensuring time plan, budget and resources in place) and following up to program team.
Participation in key steering meetings (external and internal) and coordinate activities with stakeholders across the Infrastructure program.
Take ownership of and drive interfaces between the technical functions within the Infrastructure program. Follow-up on change and seek weekly updates on change management.
Work closely with the municipality, construction team, design team, automation team and logistics team to ensure general program activities are followed-up on and closed out.
Defining and launching sprints (in-depth support as required) e.g. time-bound sprints, “out-of-scope” topics.

Skills & Requirements
Education/Experience
A relevant university degree (B.Sc. / M.Sc. or similar). Engineering degree preferred but not required.
Preferably 3+ years of relevant experience. Relevant experience in this case is within construction projects (design, execution and commissioning phase).
Previous experience as Project Engineer or Project Coordinator on multidiscipline projects.
Industrial background – Advanced Manufacturing, Chemical Processing, Oil & Gas, Mining, Mineral Processing or similar is a plus.
Have worked in multi-cultural environment is a plus.

Specific Skills/Abilities
Excellent English written and oral skills, other languages is a plus.
Excellent knowledge in MS office.
Highly organized and result-driven.
Proactive and goes beyond expectations.
Has a can do attitude and an entrepreneurial spirit.
Is a quick learner and good at digesting information and apply in problem solving.
Ability to work under high pressure and tight deadlines, excellent time management.
Ability to work well with others in a team environment, as well as independently.
Ability to work in a high profile and often high pressured international environment.
