PROJECT MANAGER LEVEL 4 -

Our public-sector client is searching for a project manager with hands-on experience directing development projects involving IT aspects at the application level. The consultant in question will oversee projects ranging from the further development of in-house designed systems to the deployment of new standard systems. The projects may also contain business development and information modelling, but the project manager has access to dedicated personnel. The breadth and complexity of the projects and tasks planned for the assignment may vary.
Typically, you will be in charge of 2-4 tasks / projects at the same time that are not so enormous that you can delegate everything. It is critical that you be unpretentious and can contribute operationally when needed, such as in requirements management and testing.
The client prioritises soft skills such as being a good listener, being able to interact well, providing clear and systematic project leadership, and demonstrating a high degree of dedication.
It is not necessary to have an IT development background, but the customer appreciates experience as the "connection" between the demands of the company and the IT provider, which exists externally.
The latter requires a high level of competence and experience functioning as a client in the face of external providers. The customer considers excellent practical expertise in requirements management to be a precondition for success with the project.
