Product Group Parts Distribution and Logistics (PDL) in Alfa Laval has the main responsibility of sourcing and supplying spare parts to our Sales companies and End customers through our Distribution Centers around the world. Alfa Laval has embarked on a digitalization journey and we are now looking for a Project Manager to support PDL on this journey.
About the job
Within PDL, we are continuously looking into ways on how we can improve our processes, tools and the way we do business. Your main responsibilities will be to identify, plan, drive and implement improvement projects where we can enhance our everyday business using digitalization tools. You will be part of the Operations Development Team for PDL. Example of tasks and projects that you may be involved in:
· Supply Chain End-to-end transparency
· Scenario planning
· Identify areas where we can introduce RPA:s to become more efficient in the processes.
· Identify business model and concept for Digital Warehouse
The position is located in Lund and reports to Operations Development Manager. As this is a global central role you should anticipate international travels to our different sites in Asia, USA and within Europe.
What you know
We’re looking for a Project Manager with experience from working with digitalization initiatives, preferably in an international environment. You have experience from digitalization of supply chain processes and data management.
You have a university degree, e.g. in Engineering, System Science or Business Administration and are fluent in English. It’s an advantage if you are familiar with different approaches to project management including agile methodologies.
