Project Manager Logistics to Stora Enso Network Design and Strategy Team!

In this assignment you will be an interim consultant at Stora Enso, contracted via Wise Professionals. The time period for this assignment will initially be 6 months with possibility to extension. Preferably you are located in Gothenburg where the majority of the team is located but Stora Enso has adapted a hybrid work solution where all Stora Enso locations can be used as office bases in combination with the home office.

The role:

You will be part of the Network Design & Strategy team reporting to the Manager of Network Design & Strategy. The main purpose of the role is to plan, organize and lead assigned projects in the Logistics Network Design & Strategy field. This means, to continuously improve the strategic design of the logistics network through project management and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders globally.

Together with your project group you will be responsible for the following tasks:
Responsible for planning and overseeing projects within the function of Logistics, from the initial ideation through to completion.
Within the framework of strategic project management is, among other things, long-term logistics structure planning and revision of the network's design and follow-up of its KPIs.
The project manager is also responsible for coordinating people and processes to deliver projects on time, within budget, and with the desired outcomes aligned to objectives.
Active role in the Network Design & Strategy team contributing to drive and improve ways of working and achievement of set objectives.


We would like to see that you have:

Strong project leadership and change management skills. Ability to Inspire and Motivate
Educational background or previous experience in logistics
You adapt quickly to new systems and are skilled in Office365 and Excel. It is meritorious if you are familiar with Power BI.
Ability to structure, coordinate and plan work to achieve assigned target
Solid analytical skills and understanding financial impact: Able to define and understand the most critical issues, strategically and operationally, and to set and manage structure
Strong supplier relations skills, with focus on project team motivation and engagement as well as managing relations with project sponsors and steering bodies


Highly developed communication skills
Risk management skills
Proactive, result oriented, willing to take initiative and responsibility

Process and applications skills
Fluent in English since this is an international organization
