The realization of digitally enabled products at the highest technical level requires professionals like you: an engineer with experience in managing projects for a Smart Industry. Specifically, you will manage product realization projects for Softstarters and other products of the Global Product Group Motor Starting & Safety. You will ensure that all predefined project goals are achieved. You coordinate the contribution of local and cross-functional project teams. Thanks to you, the added value of the projects is always ensured - as you work trustfully with the local management team, the global steering committee, product management and external partners.

Reporting to the Global Product Group Project Manager, you will lead projects from the specification to the global market introduction of the product.
Your responsibilities
Professional management of product creation projects
Project results regarding time, cost and scope
Setting up an effective project structure, managing project-related communication channels and responsibilities, integrating external service providers
Coordinating resources with the departments involved and defining work packages with the Simultaneous Engineering Team
Professional escalation of critical issues, preparation of decision proposals
Complete documentation and continuous reporting on project progress
Convincing presentation of the project - also to customers and suppliers
Proposing further development of the processes

Your background
Min. 2 years of experience in project management, working as project manager
A solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
First experience in managing cross functional teams in an international environment
Sound knowledge of project management methods and tools
Knowledge of MS Office, MS Project and SAP
A technical degree (preferably in Electrical Engineering)
Fluency in English
