Countless clients around the world, from broadcasters, production companies, DSPs, and YouTubers rely on our tracks to help them tell their stories. Epidemic Sound’s music is heard in hundreds of millions of online videos daily, across millions of playlist streams, and in thousands of in-store locations. Headquartered in Stockholm, we’re spread across offices in New York City, Los Angeles, Seoul, Hamburg, and Amsterdam. We are looking for a Project Manager to work in the Music Team. The team's primary responsibility is to produce the world’s best music catalog for storytelling while creating a world-class partner experience for music creators. This is a full-time temporary position (until December 31st, 2022)

How you will make an impact

In this role, you will cooperate with teams within Music, Product, Legal and Finance, with a specific focus on supporting our geographic expansion of music production. We are in an exciting phase where we are expanding into new regions to be able to work with music creators from all over the world. By managing this part of the geo expansion you will be a crucial part of our mission to Soundtrack the World.

We believe you will help us achieve this by having a clear understanding of different internal stakeholders’ goals and priorities, insight in and experience with working with legal concepts and frameworks and being great at planning, coordinating and executing cross-functional projects with a pragmatic approach.

You report to the Head of Music Recruitment and will work closely together with our Legal and Product teams.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Coordination between internal and external stakeholders (Music, Legal, Product, Finance)

- Point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders

- Manage all planning, administration around assigned projects

- Responsible for goals set for the assigned projects



Who you are

- Strong project management skills with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management within a fast-growing product-focused company

- Experience working in a technical environment

- A proven collaborator, coordinator and communicator

- A generalist with very good understanding of how different teams interact/interplay and are dependent on/affect each other

- Experience working independently with external legal counsels

- Experience working with product teams

- A big plus if you have experience within the music industry and copyright law

- Driven, organized and structured

- Enjoys taking responsibility for projects from start to end, and managing multiple projects at a time

- Enjoys problems solving and critical thinking in order to achieve results

- Fluent in English, verbal and written
