Project Manager, New Market Development

As a subsidiary of Quest Diagnostics one of the world's largest Diagnostics companies HemoCue has the objective to increase growth and further develop an already strong position within Point of Care Testing.HemoCue has an interesting portfolio of products within Diabetes attending to screening, diagnosing and monitoring of diabetes and complications from diabetes.Our products are sold in more than 100 countries around the world through subsidiaries, franchises and distributors.We are looking for a Project Manager in Business Development which is part of the Global Marketing Organisation.As Project Manager you will be responsible for initial market evaluations and development of new product ideas that are both internally and externally generated.The initial market evaluation involves a wide array of contact areas incl.customers and key opinion leaders gathering information from the web and other open sources and market research.As market analysis is a key part of the evaluations you will be coordinating market data and research projects to define and measure our overall market development.You will report the Strategic Marketing Manager Market Development and be based within the Global Marketing Department in Ängelholm Sweden.You will work closely together with other marketing colleagues as well as with representatives from R&D and Sales Department in Sweden and internationally.Requirements *Academic degree in relevant areas such as marketing/business administration or life science or preferably a combination of both *Experience from marketing / marketing research within the life science area *Understanding of the medical/healthcare market *Excellent oral and written communication skills *Excellent command of the English language Personal profile You have a project leader profile and drive your responsibilities to closure.You also have the ability to extract the relevant information from different sources and can present it in a compelling way.We believe you are self motivated with a high degree of business orientation.Finally we think you are a team player reaching objectives together.
