Daniel Wellington is on an exciting journey with new ways of working with product development. We are now looking for a temporary Project Manager - New Products for our Operations department in Stockholm, to cover during a maternity leave for around 12 months. Although it's a temporary role, we see it as a perfect opportunity for the one looking for a challenge where you lead and develop our processes and lift us to the next level.
THE TASKS YOU WILL OWN
As our Project Manager for New Products, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end activities for new global product launches. The plan for 2024 is set and you will identify milestones, collaborate with stakeholders across the whole organization, and lead the project teams to achieve successful product launches.
- Manage projects with timelines, milestones, resources, risks, roles and responsibilities, and day-to-day activities.
- Maintain and communicate project status and ensure that all projects are delivered on time.
- Lead and influence continuous project team meetings and ensure resource availability and allocation.
- Proactively manage potential issues and lead ad-hoc cross-functional meetings for issue resolution.
- Monitor product readiness and escalate risks with timeline.
- Conduct competitor research and analysis.
- Review our product development process and identify improvement opportunities.
WHO YOU ARE
- BSc or MSc degree in Engineering/Economics or another relevant field
- A minimum of 3 years experience in project management in a global organization
- An ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced changing environment and to build strong relationships across the business
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Swedish and English
- Experience in project management within industries such as fashion, retail, and e-commerce is considered a plus
