About the job
We are hiring a Project Manager NPI to manage projects during the product development phase, taking full responsibility for all the industrialization activities towards any production site planned.
At completion of the development phase, once secure and reliable volume output are stablished, the Project Manager NPI will hand over the product to production/operations.
You will also drive projects within Operations.
In this role you will act as functional support to volume manufacturing operations. In this role you will be expected to travel as needed. The position is based in Kista, Sweden.
Responsibilities:
- DPR/FMEA Processes
- Coordinate prototype/FAI/SPVR builds
- Mfg development proposals and delivery
- Mfg process development and delivery
- Work instructions development
- Establish methods to measure performance, increase visibility
- Transfer of products to volume sites
Qualification and experience:
- 5+ years’ experience in a Project Manager position in production for implementation of new products (NPI)
- Transferred at least one production related operation/project from one site to another
- Experience with Kaizen, Lean and / or CIP processes
- Process-orientated and analytical approach to delivering operational efficiency
- Can work independently, take initiatives as well as lead the agenda
- Experience from telecom and/or energy products is a merit
- English-speaking skills, both spoken and in writing
