Alfa Laval develops, manufactures and sells special products and world-class technical solutions that help our customers optimize the performance of their processes.Time and time again.Our equipment and systems create solutions for heating, cooling, separation and fluid handling of products such as oil, chemicals, water, beverages, foodstuffs, starch and pharmaceuticals.Alfa Laval has approximately 9,500 employees in more than 50 countries covering over 100 markets.We have just created a new Alfa Laval with a new spirit and a strong focus, that will reinforce our position as a global leader within the areas where we operate.Our solid base is our shared goals and values.We are customer oriented.We dare to do things differently.We are open, informal and flexible.We create reliable and cost-efficient solutions.We are a totally new company, founded in 1883.Corporate IT optimize and support the business processes within Alfa Laval.We work in close co-operation with the business organization in a number of different projects - both with existing processes and with brand new initiatives.One4AL is the largest IS/IT project in the history of Alfa Laval.The objective is to establish a streamlined and efficient sales organization in Western Europe and in the US, and to establish a foundation for e-business and customer services.It includes many different change initiatives, where a new IS/IT system is one very important activity.A system has been built and is currently implemented in 15 countries.But this is just the beginning.Soon, the first "old" ERP system will be phased out, and there are 20 more to continue.Altogether, this means that there is a long list of requested enhancements, and it is getting longer every day.Your responsibility as a project manager is to take care of change requests from the approval to the day they are tested and implemented in the production environment, and make sure that internal / external people deliver according to the agreed schedules.One4AL is built on a Service Oriented Architecture, so development will take place in many different hardware and software environments.It is therefore necessary that you have a broad IS/IT background, in order to understand challenges with primarily AS/400 (Java) and SQL Server technologies.We are looking for an experienced project manager with documented experience of large and complex IS/IT projects.You should also have an earlier experience as a system developer in either AS/400 / Java or SQL Server, in order to understand the challenges the project people have to deal with.Your formal background is on university level, most likely from the technical faculity.You have developed excellent communication skills, and you have no problem to communicate in English as the vast majority of the users are located outside Sweden.Please send your application in English no later than May 27th 2007 to (ALround/Overall AlfaLaval/Career/Sweden).
