We are looking for a Project Manager Operations NorthEast Europe

You will play a key role in our work with continously improvements and you will report directly to the VP of the divison NorthEast Europe. The assignment involves responsibility for the management of a selected set of important strategical business projects within Operations, Commercial and Technology & Innovation. The position includes working with the Project Owners of the selected projects to articulate the objectives, deliverables, scope, expected business impact, risks, timeline and required resources into a Project Proposal and, if accepted, a Project Charter. When decided you will take charge of the execution of these projects (including taking part in executing deliverables and ensuring their quality, budget management, risk management, scheduling, team staffing & management, etc.) It is of great importance that you constantly monitor the progress of the project and the continued alignment between the Project Charter and the business reality, suggesting scope and approach changes where needed.

Main duties

• Initiate / execute feasibility studies / business cases that will possibly lead to new project.
• Leading, in a project mode, a project team composed of 4-5 persons for each of the covered projects.
• Responsible for concurrently running 3-4 projects with a strategic impact.


Experience and competence

• Technical/operations university degree or equivalent
• Project Management of multidiscipline projects
• Teamwork in an international context
• Experience of working in collaboration with a wide range of business areas minimum 10 years (Commercial, Operations, Innovation)
• Experience of Process Industry Operations supervision or management
• Deep knowledge in OPS aspects and/or process, project engineering and economical follow up
• High level efficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Fluent English written and oral.


Merit - Good understanding of the Minerals Industry

The majority of projects will be in countries of Sibelco Operations North East region and extensive traveling will be required. The position is based in Gothenburg.
