Randstad Life Sciences is recruiting a Project Manager, Preclinical and Early Development for a consultant assignment at the biopharmaceutical company Albireo. This is an exciting opportunity for you who have worked with preclinical and nonclinical support in all phases of drug development.


Albireo is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on the development and potential commercialization of novel bile acid modulators to treat orphan pediatric liver diseases and other liver and gastrointestinal disorders. We have deep expertise in bile acid biology and a pipeline of clinical and nonclinical programs. Responsibilities
Your responsibilities as a Project Manager will be: 
Provide overall preclinical and nonclinical support and management including design, execution, supervision, analysis, interpretation and reporting of non-clinical and clinical pharmacodynamics, toxicology and safety studies
Engage, oversee and build collaborations with contract research organizations (CRO) to run and execute nonclinical studies
Support the filing of applications to regulatory agencies by preparing reports and appropriate sections of regulatory documents
Provide scientific insight and input from a nonclinical perspective to drive and improve our programs


Qualifications
M.Sc. or B.Sc. with equivalent experience, in relevant areas 
At least 5 years hands-on experience in drug development in relevant areas
Experience in running or managing IND-enabling studies and programs is required and that you have been working in close collaboration with CROs and consultants. 
It would be highly beneficial if you have experience and knowledge of pharmacokinetics and drug metabolism. 
Experience in early clinical development would be highly beneficial.
Highly motivated with exceptional interpersonal, written and oral communication skills 

As a person, you have a clear demonstration of behaviors of being meticulous, efficient and able to take own initiatives. You should have a positive, goal oriented and problem-solving attitude. It is essential that you are thorough and deliver with high quality. Furthermore we see that you have good organizational and communication skills.
