Do you have the skills and drive needed to lead technically advanced projects within embedded products and systems development? If so, this might be your chance to take on an exciting position at the embedded systems department within Process control Platform. You will get a broad role within the organization and manage many different diverse projects, ranging from new development to product lifecycle management and manufacturing introductions.
Process Control Platform is a unit within ABB’s division Industrial Automation. We are responsible for development, marketing and delivery of automation products, both hardware and software for monitoring, control and optimization. We sell and deliver automation systems to all types of process industries. With the ABB AbilityTM System 800xA we offer unique opportunities to synchronize data from the manufacturing process with additional information systems and enable all decision information available in real-time to our customers.
This position reports to R&D Department Lead.
Your responsibilities
Coordinating and monitoring projects by leading and coaching skilled developers based both locally and globally.
Being responsible for planning, driving and reporting project progress and budget to both local and global steering groups.
Manage and coordinate project deliverables and various stakeholders within the organization.

Your background
A Master’s degree in Engineering, along with at least three years’ experience from working as project manager or similar.
Relevant work experience within project coordination, planning and reporting or similar.
Previous experience from working in a position within product development.
Specialization within embedded and hardware development and previous work with Safety certified SIL-development is an advantage.
Fluency in English, written and spoken alike.
Since the position is located in Västerås, Sweden, knowledge in Swedish is advantageous.
Ability to manage change and coach the team to reach success.
Great leadership and people skills which enable to reach highly set goals.
Driven and engaging personality.
Good communication skills.
Team- and result-oriented mindset.
