Our global R&D function is now looking for a Project manager for Product Maintenance, Power Wheelchair Development.
Key Tasks
As Project Manager within Product Maintenance, you will manage cross functional projects focusing on enhancing and maintaining the existing product range of Power wheelchairs. Your key duty will be to manage and oversee multiple projects and to set targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines as well as deliver within the given scope and quality.
The projects differ in size and include mechanical, electronic as well as software development. You will lead the work from planning until handover to the production facility. To your help you have a cross functional team from different technical and geographical areas within our global organization.
As a Project Manager, you will:
Plan and drive execution of development projects
Manage team members
Manage project budget, scheduling, and planning
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to obtain input and buy-in, as appropriate
Conduct status review meetings with team members and stakeholders
Provide reports and documentation on project progress
Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate project related risks
Your Background
To be a successful project manager you need to be driven, social, and well-organized. You are independent, have strong leadership skills and can lead teams to deliver defined goals. As a person you are structured and have analytical & problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast pace. You understand the importance of communication within your project team as well as with other stakeholders. We strive to be an open organization, sharing our knowledge and working with continuous improvements.
Qualifications:
University degree (Master or Bachelor) in engineering or equivalent.
A few years of working experience as a project manager.
Good communications and writing skills in both Swedish and English.
Experience from the medical device industry or automotive industry is considered an advantage.
