This will be your mission:
In the role as Project Manager Purchasing, you will be a key player in the cross-functional product development process, engaged in Vehicle Streams, Vehicle Development Teams or Technology streams and/or project teams.
You will, in a pro-active way, plan, drive and follow up the Purchasing part of the development and secure the Purchasing deliverables on time with agreed quality, cost, features and technology, sustainability and risk, and you will have the responsibility to judge the maturity of the progress of the deliverables. You will also be the interface to the Purchasing line organization and work closely together to secure purchasing strategies & objectives when building the technology and development roadmaps.

Supply Network Resiliency & Project Management (SNR&PM) Purchasing is a global organization within Group Trucks Purchasing with holistic responsibility over the Product Project portfolio, Volume & Supplier Capacity Planning, Supplier Development and Crisis Management. We deliver customer value via End-to-End product evolution ownership & resilient supply network, and we enable the best Performance & Customer Success outcomes while fully coordinated with Group Trucks Technology and Group Trucks Operations and Volvo Brands within efficient governance structure.

Other competence & experience we would wish for you to have:
University degree in Engineering/technology and/or Business Administration
Understanding of Purchasing challenges through experience from working in purchasing and/or development projects within automotive
Knowledge of AGILE methodology is a plus
